Amazing escape to paradise! Talk about a nice and comfortable house to stay in while you tour and enjoy local areas. The house was amazing, and perfectly fit what we were looking for when we wanted to escape and relax by the private pool. All encounters with the both Jan and Issac were amazing and extremely helpful and they provided excellent recommendations. Perfect for a family, although you could rent for multiple families. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom and balcony or outside area. Overall, we highly recommend this property. It exceeded expectations, and it is definitely on our spots to return list. Get out there and enjoy the island, while knowing you have paradise waiting for you when you are ready to relax!
Beautiful view from all bedrooms, pool, and rooftop. Very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The dishwasher was not working but maintenance responded the same day. It was working by the third day but still not cleaning dishes well. It was difficult to get hot water in the master bedroom shower. It seemed to work only when no other showers were running at the same time and still with very low water pressure. No shampoo provided so bring your own. Everything else we needed was there including plenty of pool towels and sunscreen. The island if beautiful, very friendly. Great restaruants, bars, and beachclubs. We felt very safe everywhere.

My husband and I have come to Isla multiple times over the last 20 years, often staying for long periods of time. We love Isla and all it offers— food, culture, healing, vibes—but admittedly don’t love how popular it is has become now, lol. Whether this is your first trip to Isla or your 50th, you’ll like it. Location is perfect. Right at the opening to Punta Sur. Beautiful pool with everything you need, from pool loungers to floats. Ample trails for a morning walk to Punta Sur or to explore the surrounding neighborhood. Luxurious but not stuffy.
I would highly recommend Casa del Pescador for anyone looking to recharge, relax, and breathe. Its offerings are among the best on Isla.

Golf carts are a popular mode of transportation on the island. In addition, there are taxi drivers who will come to the casa and pick you up and take you anywhere you want to go. We recommend renting a golf cart for a day or two to explore then decide if you want to rent it for more days. There are many Golf Cart Rental Agencies and you are welcome to walk in to any of them and strike a deal. Or if you are looking for hassle free, deliver it to the casa many guests use this service.
